Chiriboga Torres hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Anjos. In the 21st minute, Hector-Luis Arzola made a precise shot to the right of Máximo Laureano. Terceirense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hector-Luis Arzola came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gentil Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azul Y Plomo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. In the 36th minute, Hector-Luis Arzola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Laureano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Azul Y Plomo's zone, Gentil Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Cabrero came out of the goal and Gentil Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Hector-Luis Arzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector-Luis Arzola made a kick off. Chiriboga Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zacarias Cabrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
