The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Stade Ygossais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Vaissière didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Fredriksson succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 18th minute Fermin Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivien Canale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Linus Fredriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Vivien Canale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vivien Canale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovanni Rana went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Stade Ygossais defense, Aybek Orcun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivien Canale. The Stade Ygossais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Canale should have stopped the shot. After 27 minutes, Dionisio Panpili made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Stade Ygossais's Vivien Canale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arixo in the 32nd minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Vivien Canale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Linus Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vivien Canale. Stade Ygossais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 0-9 became the score in the 39th minute when Linus Fredriksson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Fermin Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Arixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Fredriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aybek Orcun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vivien Canale. The goal made the score 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Marlin FC's Santiago Cachorro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vivien Canale. That made the score 0-11 after 54 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Stade Ygossais defense, Aybek Orcun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivien Canale. The Stade Ygossais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivien Canale should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Vivien Canale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Fredriksson. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Giovanni Rana took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Vivien Canale to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Stade Ygossais's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dionisio Panpili fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vivien Canale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybek Orcun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Eugène Guiguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fernando Ciano hit a great ball. Dionisio Panpili took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivien Canale. Vivien Canale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Linus Fredriksson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-15 to the left of a surprised Vivien Canale 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Linus Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Vivien Canale. Stade Ygossais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. The crowd rose to their feet as Linus Fredriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vivien Canale. That made the score 0-17 in the 81 minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-18 when Linus Fredriksson sped through Stade Ygossais's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vivien Canale. Vivien Canale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 87th minute of the match. Fermin Arixo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-19 in the 88th playminute. Vivien Canale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aybek Orcun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-20 in the 91 minute of play. Cyril Desmaison hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Stade Ygossais's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Dionisio Panpili scored to the left of an out of position Vivien Canale, making the score, 0-21. When the final whistle sounded Marlin FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stade Ygossais.
