Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Pires to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo George got free with Hudson Gaúcho in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ayhan Özbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sócrates Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Poker de Ases ⚜️'s Godfredo George nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hudson Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Marcus Pollard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poker de Ases ⚜️'s Hector Servando was substituted for Godfredo George. 91 minutes into the game, Wellington Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austra 04 VFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poker de Ases ⚜️ the free kick. In the 91st minute, Wellington Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes, Poker de Ases ⚜️'s Germán Ré shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poker de Ases ⚜️ reached it.
