Bram Reinhard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Kornasiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umbrella Corporation's Sebastião Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Amaral in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Antoni Bartoszek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bram Reinhard. Antoni Bartoszek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Inácio Amaral took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Barbosa. Sebastião Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bram Reinhard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Che's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Umbrella Corporation got a corner. De Kasteelheren's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Curado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antoni Bartoszek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Reinhard having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Ferdi Vorenkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Barbosa. Umbrella Corporation's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Vorenkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Bartoszek in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bram Reinhard saved De Kasteelheren from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bartoszek came free, but Bram Reinhard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Barbosa having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoni Bartoszek was the one to do the kick off. Bram Reinhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Kornasiewicz in the 51st minute of the match. Bram Reinhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Harold Rodenboog kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Bartoszek in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bram Reinhard saved De Kasteelheren from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's Inácio Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Rodenboog in the 72nd minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Sebastião Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Hayden Hoebe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastião Barbosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Inácio Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the De Kasteelheren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Amaral couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Vorenkamp came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bram Reinhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Lennon in the 86th minute of play. When Inácio Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the De Kasteelheren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Amaral couldn't finish the play. Inácio Amaral scored 3-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastião Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. De Kasteelheren's Bram Reinhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Bartoszek in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
