In the 16th minute of the match, Richard Enegren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilvan Sanches saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 17th match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Tadeu Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jessie Pinkman in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Zendium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Mårten Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Zendium's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Maia came free, but Jan Jelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's Ulisses Antunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Jelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zendium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Squad FC the free kick. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Zendium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jessie Pinkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Jelm having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mårten Blom made a kick off. If Jessie Pinkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Zendium got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Backlund. In the 57th minute Ulisses Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Zendium's Richard Enegren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jessie Pinkman got free with Jan Jelm in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Zendium's Jan Jelm got control of the ball when Ulisses Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard Enegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Enegren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Uno Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Zendium's zone, Ulisses Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Jelm came out of the goal and Ulisses Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Jelm made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tadeu Cosme sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Zendium booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jessie Pinkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jan Jelm made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 88th minute of play forced Zendium's goalkeeper Jan Jelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Jessie Pinkman made a precise shot to the right of Jan Jelm. Zendium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Green Squad FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
