The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Steffen Hemelaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Håkansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steffen Hemelaers's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Mattias Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Enekoitz in the 11th minute. The supporters of Putin Club - OFF booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Putin Club - OFF's Baltasar Perutxo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Roy Jonsson hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Serafin Ugutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putin Club - OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlsborg the free kick. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Putin Club - OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mattias Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Steffen Hemelaers sent off a good shot on target. Steffen Hemelaers struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mattias Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putin Club - OFF. Mattias Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steffen Hemelaers in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Reynaldo Enekoitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Håkansson skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Hemelaers in the 36th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Putin Club - OFF got a corner. Karlsborg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baltasar Perutxo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Putin Club - OFF's Steffen Hemelaers was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Karlstedt was the one to do the kick off. Mattias Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Ugutz in the 51st minute of the match. When Serafin Ugutz came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Putin Club - OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Ugutz couldn't finish the play. After 56 played minutes Putin Club - OFF got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Borges. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Orain during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Putin Club - OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Dalmai in the 63rd minute of play. Putin Club - OFF's Steffen Hemelaers got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. At last the ball reached Lin Ning Wei at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Karlsborg. 2-0. Serafin Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Håkansson having to interfere. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Hemelaers in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Putin Club - OFF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fernando Borges hit a great ball. When Baltasar Perutxo fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putin Club - OFF's protests and gave Baltasar Perutxo a yellow card for diving instead. Steffen Hemelaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Håkansson having to interfere. Putin Club - OFF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
