In the 9th minute Altza Herria were awarded a corner. Richie Carmona went to the cornerflag to take it. Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 15th minute of play. Pablo Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Julio-César van Beek made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Svetoslav Vardarov sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 30th minute of play. Christiano Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 36th minute of play forced Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Pablo Lohitzun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
