After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Endre Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungarian Olympic's supporters rose to their feet, but Endre Révész was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Bran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Belarmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicodim Bran was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lluciano Somorrostro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukács Bánhegyi saved Hungarian Olympic from getting behind. Nicodim Bran was a little too slow when Ernesto Belarmo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. With a little luck, F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's Nicodim Bran got control of the ball when Ernesto Belarmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicodim Bran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 88th minute. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Ernesto Belarmo sped through F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicodim Bran. In the 95th match minute, F.C. Ștefan cel Mare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Şimoc to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Hungarian Olympic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Ștefan cel Mare throughout the match.
