With a little luck, Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes got control of the ball when Malam Drage tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 41st minute, Peter-Jan De Brouwer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ulysses Novaes, passed just outside the right post. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semih Şentürk in the 44th minute of play. Semih Şentürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Glerum having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Peter-Jan De Brouwer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysses Novaes was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
