With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Lago in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cruz Salcedo saved Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato from getting behind. Cagua Vilarrubia tried in the 8th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Cruz Salcedo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. In the 13th minute, Cagua Vilarrubia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Cruz Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Vitório Lago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cruz Salcedo, 2-0. In the 25th minute of the match Urbasa Sandoval sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Cruz Salcedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Vitório Lago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cruz Salcedo, 4-0. Urtzi Jordana kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cruz Salcedo. Vitório Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Cruz Salcedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato from getting a goal against them. In the 47thth minute of the game Vitório Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Cruz Salcedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitório Lago was the one to do the kick off. Cruz Salcedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Urbasa Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Allan Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cruz Salcedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cruz Salcedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitório Lago went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 67 played minutes Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato got a freekick which was hit by Urbasa Sandoval. In the 74th minute, Percival Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cruz Salcedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Barbosa in the 79th minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Cruz Salcedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cruz Salcedo. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cruz Salcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 韩默克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruz Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Barbosa in the 87th minute of play. Percival Cruz scored 8-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cruz Salcedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Barbosa came free, but Cruz Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
