In the 5th match minute, Torreoncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaljo Kravik to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Joe Herring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qi Guo Yue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s 冯剑昆 got a free kick in the 8th minute. Pedro Olguín, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Olguín in the 10th minute of the match. A hard shot 13 in the game by Joe Herring from a close distance when the talented Qi Guo Yue managed to make a qualified save. Torreoncito's players were relieved. In the 16th minute Joe Herring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qi Guo Yue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Ricardo Arias in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Torreoncito's Kaljo Kravik. In the 29thth minute of the game Joe Herring who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Qi Guo Yue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Herring in the 33rd minute of the match. Qi Guo Yue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 36th minute of play. Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 37th minute of play. Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Okopny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Chen Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Joe Herring hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Joe Herring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaljo Kravik kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
