A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Matos in the 27th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Bastos came free, but Richard Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. When Jessica Xerifão fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumaré Sport Club's protests and gave Jessica Xerifão a yellow card for diving instead. Jessica Xerifão hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Sumaré Sport Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A A Arizona.
