After 5 minutes, Argyris Miroforidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amfithea Hotspur and the Bucharia Reco players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Beck in the 15th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Valerios Paboulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Amfithea Hotspur's Charilaos Dimitrakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Winnicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 24thth minute of the game Iie Martadi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iie Martadi got free with Valerios Paboulis in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kang Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Valerios Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Beck in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valerios Paboulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valerios Paboulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iie Martadi in the 33rd minute of the match. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iie Martadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Calle Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Beck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Valerios Paboulis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amfithea Hotspur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Iie Martadi scored to the left of an out of position Valerios Paboulis, making the score, 1-2. Valerios Paboulis was a little too slow when Calle Beck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Calle Beck made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Calle Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucharia Reco's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valerios Paboulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calle Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Calle Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iie Martadi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Valerios Paboulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iie Martadi in the 60th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valerios Paboulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valerios Paboulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Johnie Loiselle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valerios Paboulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Calle Beck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valerios Paboulis was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calle Beck in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valerios Paboulis saved Amfithea Hotspur from getting behind. Bucharia Reco were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Amfithea Hotspur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartosz Brysz took the corner. Bartosz Brysz made a great header on Bucharia Reco's corner, it was just that Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute, Calle Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valerios Paboulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 94th minute Calle Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bucharia Reco had won after a very even match.
