Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Hong in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Hong in the 36th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Şamaxı Bankirlər's zone, Jiang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mänsur Rzayev came out of the goal and Jiang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mänsur Rzayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Geovanni de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ruy Faria fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 64th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Jiang Hong might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mänsur Rzayev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang Hong ran back to his position shaking his head. Mänsur Rzayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jiang Hong in the 67th minute. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Cezary Pierz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angelito Di Maria, made in the 69th minute of the game. Vende Humo made a substitution. Higinio Arias replaced Angelito Di Maria. Celso Patxi made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benito Saturnin however managed to control. Benito Saturnin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mänsur Rzayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Benito Saturnin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mänsur Rzayev made a huge save. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Akhilendra Murthy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celso Patxi, made in the 84th minute of the game. Sorin Spelbu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Benito Saturnin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mänsur Rzayev came out and tried to block the shot, but Benito Saturnin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vende Humo were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Şamaxı Bankirlər side.
