Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrian Paraschivescu started the match with the kick off. Ivan Strugure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute Boruc Mierzwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Strugure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Galagan struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ivan Strugure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 3City United. After 18 minutes of play, 3City United's Dominik Galagan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Strugure was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Galagan in the 21st minute of play. Ivan Strugure came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by 3City United's Belmiro Pontes. But to his dismay, Belmiro Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ivan Strugure stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Marczyniec's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vama Veche ™'s zone, Dominik Galagan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Strugure came out of the goal and Dominik Galagan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Mierzwa in the 32nd minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Ivan Strugure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Boguslaw Marczyniec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 3City United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 37 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Mierzwa came free, but Ivan Strugure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 43rd minute of play. Belmiro Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Strugure. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belmiro Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Boruc Mierzwa took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Strugure. Ivan Strugure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boruc Mierzwa to make the kick off. Ivan Strugure was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dominik Galagan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 70 minute of play. If Dominik Galagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Dominik Galagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Galagan in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by I Putu Tu in the 81st minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Ivan Strugure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 3City United's Boruc Mierzwa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Strugure. That made the score 0-13 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th minute, Belmiro Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 3City United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Ivan Strugure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Pontes in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match 3City United got a corner. Vama Veche ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. I Putu Tu ran over to the corner to take the kick. I Putu Tu made a great header on 3City United's corner, it was just that Vama Veche ™'s Ivan Strugure managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Boruc Mierzwa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Strugure was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After having played for 96 minutes, Dominik Galagan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 3City United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Galagan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded 3City United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vama Veche ™.
