The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raven Heart's Barto Gayoso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Folke Gabrielsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Folke Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manilan Monterrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Folke Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manilan Monterrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manilan Monterrey in the 10th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Folke Gabrielsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Gabrielsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manilan Monterrey went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Folke Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barto Gayoso in the 15th minute of play. IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manilan Monterrey in the 16th minute of play. If Barto Gayoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raven Heart's Pero Barrutia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raven Heart's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Zacarias Nerio scored to the left of an out of position Benvido Fuica, making the score, 1-1. Folke Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Barto Gayoso made a precise shot to the right of Folke Gabrielsson. IFK Kik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 36 minutes IFK Kik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barto Gayoso who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Nerio got free with Benvido Fuica in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nils-Erik Unesson hit a great ball. Benvido Fuica made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Zacarias Nerio sent off a good shot on target. Folke Gabrielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manilan Monterrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manilan Monterrey made a kick off. IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Gayoso in the 59th minute of play. Ali Behzat İlbilge charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Behzat İlbilge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave IFK Kik a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 王适伟, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Raven Heart's Benvido Fuica. 2-3. Benvido Fuica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 王适伟, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralondo Dopazo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Barto Gayoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Folke Gabrielsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Barto Gayoso slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Manilan Monterrey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Gabrielsson. The goal made the score 2-5. In the 92nd minute, Barto Gayoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Gabrielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Folke Gabrielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manilan Monterrey in the 95th minute of the match. When Bazil Corales came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Raven Heart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bazil Corales couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Raven Heart left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFK Kik.
