In the 31st minute, Per Rolandsson made a precise shot to the right of Richard Reiss. Mertesdorf FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Jakob Stevens fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 59 played minutes Mertesdorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederic Burg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wincenty Tarka in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Abel saved Average Joes from getting behind. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Stevens in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Average Joes got a corner. Mertesdorf FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kasper Bodin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kasper Bodin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mertesdorf FC's Richard Reiss did a great save. Mertesdorf FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Average Joes had controlled the match.
