With a little luck, C.A.Esparta's Mauricio Tabor got control of the ball when Recep Talha Kutyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute Gilberto Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Emander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Gino Galante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauricio Tabor. The goal made the score 2-0. After 19th play minutes Gino Galante shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Mauricio Tabor and just under the crossbar into goal. Denis Senon lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave The Owls a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristian Furdui, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A.Esparta's Mauricio Tabor. 4-0. Gino Galante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mauricio Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Agustin Opilano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 33 minutes of play, The Owls's Recep Talha Kutyan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Tabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Gino Galante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Owls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Mauricio Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauricio Tabor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Galante went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Arnau to make the kick off. Mauricio Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Galante, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute The Owls were awarded a corner. Recep Talha Kutyan went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilberto Nofre tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mauricio Tabor. An unnecessary self made goal, 10-0 in the 55th minute. Gino Galante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Gino Galante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Tabor was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. The The Owls fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when The Owls's Gino Galante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mauricio Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Galante, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 13-0 became the score in the 70th minute when Gino Galante elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Gino Galante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Tabor. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Tabor should have stopped the shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Gino Galante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Esparta's Mauricio Tabor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When The Owls's Gino Galante in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.Esparta's goalie prevented a goal. Mauricio Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubarna Harroyo in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Galante in the 85th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Mauricio Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Galante scored 15-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Aimar's late challenge caught a The Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Aimar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Aimar to maneuver through the defense.
