An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Arnau in the 9th minute of play forced FC Dream Team's goalkeeper Albino Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roberto Pegado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauricio Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Carvalhais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Jardel van Beek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dream Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Dream Team's Jardel van Beek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Tabor. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carolo Solustiano hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Mauricio Tabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Pegado. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Alexandre Carvalhais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Tabor. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Tabor should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Coimbra in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel van Beek to make the kick off. Caetano Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Renan Demangeon made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Tabor. C.A.Esparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. C.A.Esparta's Mauricio Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Carvalhais in the 60th minute of play. Mauricio Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Demangeon in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel van Beek came free, but Mauricio Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Tabor came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dream Team's Jardel van Beek. But to his dismay, Jardel van Beek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Renan Demangeon scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Alexandre Carvalhais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Tabor. C.A.Esparta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Carvalhais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jardel van Beek kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dream Team's Jardel van Beek got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, FC Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Silbestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Albino Oskarbi made a huge save. Lino Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Albino Oskarbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel van Beek, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Jardel van Beek came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel van Beek couldn't finish the play. Albino Oskarbi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Adolfo Silbestre sent off a good shot on target.
