Erenay Mutluer charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erenay Mutluer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Erenay Mutluer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Ugla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Nando Muslera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Mäder in the 6th minute of play. Kåre Ugla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Muslera having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kåre Ugla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skene's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Ugla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Muslera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Johan Kullander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kåre Ugla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nando Muslera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Kullander went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Tuğrul İsmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Ugla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nando Muslera came out and tried to block the shot, but Kåre Ugla slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Gregory Mäder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nando Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erenay Mutluer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Hjortberg having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Yunus Boztepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skene's Tuğrul İsmet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's zone, Kåre Ugla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Muslera came out of the goal and Kåre Ugla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Skene's Per Johansson got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
55 minutes into the game, Skene's Gregory Mäder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 59th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serhan Başarman to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Suelo Montana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skene the free kick. Skene's Patrik Johansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL. Serhan Başarman kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Patrik Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Hjortberg was a little too slow when Yunus Boztepe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 4-1. In the 73rd match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Boztepe to maneuver through the defense. When Kåre Ugla came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Skene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kåre Ugla couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregory Mäder in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Muslera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Ulaş Balaban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Kullander in the 86th minute of play forced VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Skene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Wiktor Basinski struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Herbert Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Skene fully deserved thier win.
