Wincenty Kornecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Konopka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Jerzy Konopka came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Hetman Zamosc's Radomir Chmelyk. But to his dismay, Radomir Chmelyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sonny Tirsberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerzy Konopka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Tirsberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KS Hetman Zamosc. Wiktor Pionek charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Pionek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, one of Gortaty:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gortaty. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for KS Hetman Zamosc. Nicholas Blum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerzy Konopka. 0-2. In the 20th minute Sonny Tirsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Konopka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franciszek Wicherek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 26 minutes, Aleksander Bykowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the KS Hetman Zamosc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Bykowski. Sonny Tirsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jerzy Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Chmelyk came free, but Jerzy Konopka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Sonny Tirsberg made a precise shot to the right of Jerzy Konopka. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 35th minute, Radomir Chmelyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Konopka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 38th minute, Wincenty Kornecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerzy Konopka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Chmelyk went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Sonny Tirsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jerzy Konopka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerzy Konopka came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Hetman Zamosc's Radomir Chmelyk. But to his dismay, Radomir Chmelyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cezary Mosiniak was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Sonny Tirsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Konopka. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Konopka should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the game, KS Hetman Zamosc's Sonny Tirsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Konopka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Sonny Tirsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Konopka having to make a save. Jerzy Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Chmelyk in the 60th minute of play. Wojtek Dziura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Bykowski in the 67th minute of the match. Sonny Tirsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Konopka having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Sonny Tirsberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerzy Konopka, 0-10. After a rather tough play, KS Hetman Zamosc's Eugeniusz Gondek got a free kick in the 76th minute. Cezary Mosiniak struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Wojtek Dziura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortaty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiusz Grajewski during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arkadiusz Grajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gortaty's Jerzy Konopka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them. Wojtek Dziura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Mosiniak in the 85th minute of the match. Jerzy Konopka was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Radomir Chmelyk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radomir Chmelyk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. After a rather tough play, KS Hetman Zamosc's Radomir Chmelyk got a free kick in the 97th minute.
