In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Quinten. 6 minutes into the match, Emanuel Barbu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Gustau. Legio X Eqvestris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Barbu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Legio X Eqvestris's zone, Emanuel Barbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gustau came out of the goal and Emanuel Barbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Luis Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Swoboda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Barbu in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tadeusz Rudy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legio X Eqvestris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Iwan Swoboda had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Luis Navarro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Agustin Quinten hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Szczucin from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Emanuel Barbu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iwan Swoboda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Barbu came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuel Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Barbu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Gustau having to make a save. In the 43rd match minute, FC Szczucin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Barbu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Navarro in the 46th minute of play forced FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Iwan Swoboda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes FC Szczucin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roald Ahland who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Legio X Eqvestris's Generoso Emenon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
54 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's José Paradela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Swoboda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, José Paradela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Swoboda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 61 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Navarro came free, but Iwan Swoboda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Legio X Eqvestris booed when FC Szczucin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arslan Sadreddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Santio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes, Eusébio Garrincha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Szczucin and the Legio X Eqvestris players grew even worse after the yellow card.
