When Charlie Monk came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Parma Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Monk couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes in the game, Charlie Monk fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ezequiel Boniel having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Parma Wanderers's Russ Hunter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ezequiel Boniel. Ezequiel Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. When the match was over Parma Wanderers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EL PEPO FC throughout the match.
