After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Elvio Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL PEPO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Rainerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Makarewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnnie Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Parma Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Rainerio came free, but Pawel Makarewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Damian Thurman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Boniel came out of the goal and Damian Thurman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cliff Gordon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezequiel Boniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Cliff Gordon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Parma Wanderers's Charlie Monk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Boniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvio Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Makarewicz having to interfere. Damian Thurman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ezequiel Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parma Wanderers. In the 29th minute, Parma Wanderers's Damian Thurman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ezequiel Boniel. Ezequiel Boniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Cliff Gordon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Boniel. EL PEPO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cliff Gordon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Damian Thurman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Boniel made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Cliff Gordon made the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Cliff Gordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Thurman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ezequiel Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Tomás Satordi replaced Gaspar Fernendo. When Tomás Satordi fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL PEPO FC's protests and gave Tomás Satordi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Tomás Satordi got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Damian Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Parma Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Monk to maneuver through the defense. Parma Wanderers made a substitution. Russ Hunter replaced Cliff Gordon. After 75 played minutes Parma Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Monk. But to his dismay, Russ Hunter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Damian Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parma Wanderers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
