The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustacio Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Pawel Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damián Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Del Santo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Eleder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bianco De Leonardis. After 9 played minutes Del Santo FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Nicolau. Luciano Eleder made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Russ Hunter sent off a good shot on target. Pawel Makarewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Lico in the 15th minute of play. Primitivo Gaskon kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Damián Emmanuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pawel Makarewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damián Emmanuel ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Parma Exiles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Nicolau was slow to take the kick. During this time Del Santo FC's players had a chance to rest. Miguel Nicolau made a great header on Del Santo FC's corner, it was just that Parma Exiles's Pawel Makarewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the match, Russ Hunter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Eleder. Del Santo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Russ Hunter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Del Santo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Eleder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 minutes Del Santo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kirk Perkins who took care of the corner kick. Pawel Makarewicz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wilfredo Lico sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Parma Exiles got a freekick which was hit by Danny Hallam. Pawel Makarewicz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miguel Nicolau. A collision led to Parma Exiles getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Andrea Strano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Russ Hunter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma Exiles's supporters rose to their feet, but Russ Hunter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Eleder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes Parma Exiles got a freekick which was hit by Sam Hitchen. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eustacio Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Del Santo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Makarewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pawel Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 93 played minutes Parma Exiles got a freekick which was hit by Russ Hunter. Parma Exiles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
