Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marco van Nistelrooij kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, Marco van Nistelrooij cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juan Musso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Senio came free, but Juan Musso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Rosario Central FC defense, Marco van Nistelrooij kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Musso. The Rosario Central FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Musso should have stopped the shot. Victor Giraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Giraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 minutes of play Caricancha's Victor Giraldo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Victor Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Amado Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mogel Izcaray's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Mogel Izcaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's Mogel Izcaray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Gamus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ezequiel Maldonado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Gamus having to make a save. 33 minutes into the game, one of Rosario Central FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rosario Central FC:s Juan Musso showed great skill when he stopped Astor Senio:s penalty. After 35 minutes Rosario Central FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmas Simbolon who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cosmas Simbolon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Musso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juan Musso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Mogel Izcaray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caricancha's Amado Gamus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Caricancha made a substitution. Jon Hally replaced Fermin Precioso. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mogel Izcaray was the one to do the kick off. Astor Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Musso having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Bieito came free, but Amado Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Caricancha's Marco van Nistelrooij sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Musso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Artaldo in the 66th minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Juan Musso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Caricancha got a corner. Rosario Central FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosmas Simbolon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan Musso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Emilio Guillelmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caricancha the free kick. Caricancha made a substitution. Muni Forró replaced Marco van Nistelrooij. Emilio Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Caricancha's Astor Senio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Musso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmas Simbolon in the 84th minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Juan Musso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Central FC's Juan Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muni Forró in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Estevão Bessa got a free kick in the 91st minute. Amado Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mogel Izcaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mogel Izcaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gamus having to interfere.
