An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmas Simbolon in the 9th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cosmas Simbolon came free, but Aron Iurașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Ciorăscu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Gamus saved Caricancha from getting behind. Emil Cernea hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Amado Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Ciorăscu in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Caricancha getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stathis Gisgakis hit a great ball. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Ciorăscu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aron Iurașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Senio in the 19th minute of the match. Aron Iurașcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Senio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Aron Ciorăscu scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Gamus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Gheorghe Cunea got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Ciorăscus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Amado Gamus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steaua Bucuresti -MM- were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Caricancha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurel Pandrea took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aurel Pandrea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amado Gamus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 37 played minutes Steaua Bucuresti -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Ciuvică. Aron Ciorăscu struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Amado Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Bucuresti -MM-. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Caricancha made a substitution. Wang Jun Wei replaced Fermin Precioso. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Ciorăscu made a kick off. Amado Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Ciorăscu in the 53rd minute of play. Amado Gamus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Cunea went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Caricancha made a substitution. Muni Forró replaced Marco van Nistelrooij. Ferdinand Vasiliu made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucrețiu Capătă immediately put the ball in play. Amado Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Cunea, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Ciorăscu in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Caricancha were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosmas Simbolon took the corner. The supporters of Caricancha booed when Steaua Bucuresti -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Constantinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Vadym Putinčanin got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Muni Forró hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Drumeș in the 89th minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Caricancha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Gisgakis to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Caricancha's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Drumeș came free, but Amado Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Artaldo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute Aron Ciorăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Steaua Bucuresti -MM- were victorious despite being under pressure from Caricancha for much of the match.
