In the 75thth minute of the game Freddy Amato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Amato in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Férid Khalifa saved Botafogo MZRJ from getting behind. Botafogo MZRJ's Jailson Capixaba was substituted for Gilmar Couto. Plaza Jewell were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Botafogo MZRJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Freddy Amato took the corner.
