Santino Mora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Boix, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Boix in the 4th minute of play. Santino Mora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Boix went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Terres to maneuver through the defense. Santino Mora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Boix in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macías Camazon during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Macías Camazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora got control of the ball when Martin Boix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Oliveiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santino Mora having to make a save. Martin Boix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santino Mora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Martin Boix struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Santino Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damian’s Team. Damian’s Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Boix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Zuberoa Mesia. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Montiel to make the kick off. Martin Boix took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santino Mora. Santino Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 59th match minute, Damian’s Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Piedrahita to maneuver through the defense. When Zuberoa Mesia fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Santiago's protests and gave Zuberoa Mesia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Zuberoa Mesia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Boix might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santino Mora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Boix ran back to his position shaking his head. Santino Mora came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Damian’s Team's Martin Boix. But to his dismay, Martin Boix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Arturo Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Montiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santino Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Boix in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play Club Deportivo Santiago's Zuberoa Mesia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zuberoa Mesia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Boix in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santino Mora saved Club Deportivo Santiago from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Arturo Montiel had to leave the field with a concussion. Club Deportivo Santiago's Ursino Valls was substituted for Arturo Montiel. Tiburcio Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Xaiver Bara struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nenko Topchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Santiago. 88 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Boix came free, but Santino Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Boix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian’s Team were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Deportivo Santiago for a fine match.
