The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catalino Canto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cup2 from getting a goal against them. Catalino Canto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Skoroda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Dimcho Fuskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catalino Canto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Téo Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catalino Canto was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Eliseo Moreno came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Feminista MZC's Elói Borges. But to his dismay, Elói Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 28th minute Cup2 were awarded a corner. Mladen Pashov went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 33 minutes, Dimcho Fuskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cup2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimcho Fuskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Hotz got free with Eliseo Moreno in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Feminista MZC's Elói Borges made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After taking down the ball on Cup2's corner Tzvetoslav Pehlivanov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Catalino Canto quite easily take care of the ball. Feminista MZC's Catalino Canto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimcho Fuskov in the 63rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Feminista MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimcho Fuskov came free, but Catalino Canto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catalino Canto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Téo Mello in the 66th minute. Dimcho Fuskov came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Catalino Canto could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Feminista MZC's Cesar Hotz got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cup2 made a substitution. Catalino Canto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Mello in the 87th minute of the match. The Cup2 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cup2 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
