The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genaro Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Puzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Miroslaw Puzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Montez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslaw Puzio in the 9th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Genaro Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Puzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Wellington Neves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC KLUCZBORK's Klement Bialakowski did a great save. Teodor Huștiu scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Bialakowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Witold Wierzcholek kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Wellington Neves, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Roman Wachna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Traian in the 35th minute of play forced FC KLUCZBORK's goalkeeper Klement Bialakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Fotbal Club Vaslui:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC KLUCZBORK:s goal. In the 43rd minute, one of FC KLUCZBORK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC KLUCZBORK. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miroslaw Puzio to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes FC KLUCZBORK got a freekick which was hit by Doruk Tan. In the 56th minute Traian Traian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Bialakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Marcu Piţurcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Genaro Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Puzio in the 59th minute of play. Klement Bialakowski came out of the goal and Traian Traian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Matías Azevedo replaced Traian Traian. Fotbal Club Vaslui's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wellington Neves in the 89th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Matías Azevedo sped through FC KLUCZBORK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Klement Bialakowski. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fotbal Club Vaslui had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
