Dan Gheară came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Made in Honduras defense, Indiana Jones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Gheară. The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Gheară should have stopped the shot. After 10 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Balogh. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Agustin Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal and Agustin Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 21st minute of play. Dan Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Feliciano Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Made in Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demy Ottens took the corner. Feliciano Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Gartxot in the 43rd minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Agustin Arnau made the kick off in the second half. Dan Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Gheară made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jyrki Sillanpää struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dan Gheară didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hijos de Doña Beija. Indiana Jones succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 63rd playminute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Ciro Osasun was substituted for Demy Ottens. In the 69th minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Made in Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute Made in Honduras were awarded a corner. Agustin Arnau went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 79th match minute, Made in Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Viscarra to maneuver through the defense. Dan Gheară made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Viscarra in the 81st minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Gheară having to make a save. Dan Gheară made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 84th minute. Made in Honduras's Dan Gheară proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Made in Honduras from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Dan Gheară was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Mora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Aguilera was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Ricardo Viscarra managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Los Hijos de Doña Beija played a much better game than Made in Honduras and deserved their victory. The Made in Honduras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
