Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Retorno de Palermo's Jerom Quvelirs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Drogba in the 5th minute of play. Celestino Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vullnet Boba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Didier Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Celestino Jerico hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Mikus Linkūns tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vullnet Boba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute of the match El Retorno de Palermo got a corner. Prizren04 C.F's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mikus Linkūns ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Fernanco got free with Vullnet Boba in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luan Boba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Celestino Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vullnet Boba having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Prizren04 C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Mikus Linkūns came free, but Vullnet Boba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Vangjush Shabani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Laert Dhima came free, but Jerom Quvelirs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Didier Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Osasun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mikus Linkūns cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vullnet Boba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Prizren04 C.F getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vangjush Shabani hit a great ball. Jerom Quvelirs made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Didier Drogba sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prizren04 C.F's goalkeeper Vullnet Boba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didier Drogba got free with Jerom Quvelirs in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vullnet Boba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Osasun in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Didier Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Prizren04 C.F got a freekick which was hit by Vangjush Shabani. 75 minutes into the match, Prizren04 C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Jerico came free, but Vullnet Boba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benicio Osasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vullnet Boba was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Neshat Laçka came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Prizren04 C.F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neshat Laçka couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Boba during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luan Boba kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Vullnet Boba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Malik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vullnet Boba. Prizren04 C.F's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zygmunt Malik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 96 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Jerom Quvelirs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neshat Laçka. El Retorno de Palermo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
