Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Andres Ekhi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Reinaldo Palmeira got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Doron Bantz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricart Futebol Clube's protests and gave Doron Bantz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Doron Bantz hit a great ball. Andres Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Xi Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Doron Bantz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ricart Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doron Bantz couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Olisadebe hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ricart Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doron Bantz in the 30th minute. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Xi Jun in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Pirates of Black Sea got a freekick which was hit by Taribo West. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pirates of Black Sea! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Pirates of Black Sea's Dong Xi Jun made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Ekhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dong Xi Jun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andres Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori was substituted for Abel Ramalho. Taribo West made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ricart Futebol Clube's Emanuel Olisadebe. Andres Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Xi Jun in the 67th minute of play. Wasyl Modrzewski was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Eusebio Hori capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusebio Hori really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Pirates of Black Sea made a substitution. Chris-George Chevalier replaced Dong Xi Jun. Wasyl Modrzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Hori in the 75th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Chevalier came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirates of Black Sea's attentive Işık Korhan managed to snatch the ball when Reinaldo Palmeira made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Chevalier came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Dowrick struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Andres Ekhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirates of Black Sea. After a defensive mix-up in Pirates of Black Sea's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Modrzewski came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricart Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
