Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Obst in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tonete in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esra Breidert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Richard Textex dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alberto Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Esra Breidert made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tonete got free with Esra Breidert in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Wulf Köllner got a free kick in the 95th minute. FC Traktor Götz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
