In the 30th minute Radomil Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Americo Javiar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Americo Javiar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Americo Javiar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Hector Cambranes had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacek Kazczyk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hector Cambranes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Army's Jacek Kazczyk. But to his dismay, Jacek Kazczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piotr Pleban during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Piotr Pleban hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Perry Barrios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Ludwa. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Ludwa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Romeo in the 48th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Izydor Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bernardinho Romeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Ludwa having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Hieronim Fronczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Okopny, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Arturo Cordaro charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Cordaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arturo Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Jacek Kazczyk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Cambranes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domingos Kemen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jacek Kazczyk struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hector Cambranes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Army. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Army fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Izydor Ludwa, was totally fooled by ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Perry Barrios, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Bonifacio Platon fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's protests and gave Bonifacio Platon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play.
