With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Wassenius in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Brander saved Kronan from getting behind. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Nils Mikaelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bror Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarando Calva having to interfere. When Atlético de Caracas's Emiliano Sotil in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kronan's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Sotil in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilhelm Brander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigvard Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rolando Alley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilhelm Brander. Kronan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Kronan defense, Rolando Alley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilhelm Brander. The Kronan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilhelm Brander should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Bror Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zarando Calva was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 31st minute of play. Nils Mikaelsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Zarando Calva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute Nils Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarando Calva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Bror Lundqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zarando Calva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elu Begal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarando Calva having to interfere. Zarando Calva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Piotr Moizuk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Atlético de Caracas booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazmija Stojković in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Nils Mikaelsson made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Sotil's late challenge caught a Kronan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Sotil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Emiliano Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Alley in the 54th minute of play. Vilhelm Brander made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tom Wassenius sent off a good shot on target. Tom Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Brander was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Tom Wassenius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tom Wassenius really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Nazmija Stojković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kronan made a substitution. Per-Åke Galle replaced Nils Mikaelsson. Kronan's John Eliasson was substituted for Rolf Apelqvist. Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Aires Laguno replaced Nazmija Stojković. Kronan's attentive Michael Skoog managed to snatch the ball when Wiktor Gaszynski made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Aires Laguno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Vilhelm Brander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per-Åke Galle hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Santarém in the 83rd minute of play. Kronan's attentive Michael Skoog managed to snatch the ball when Wiktor Gaszynski made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Bror Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kronan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Tom Wassenius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Vilhelm Brander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Kronan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético de Caracas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
