After 16 minutes Syrianska FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moisés Villarroel who took care of the corner kick. Feliciano Echegoyen made a great header on Araucampeón Retirado's corner, it was just that Syrianska FC's Ingemar Åberg managed to reach the ball for a save. After 16 minutes, Feliciano Echegoyen made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Syrianska FC's Ingemar Åberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Halil Okaner put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ingemar Åberg. After 25 minutes, Simon Andersson made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Araucampeón Retirado's Pedro Manuel Zuburu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leandro Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Åberg having to interfere. Halil Okaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kees Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kees Van Bever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manuel Zuburu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Halil Okaner made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Andersson in the 54th minute of play forced Araucampeón Retirado's goalkeeper Pedro Manuel Zuburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Simon Andersson put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manuel Zuburu. 62 minutes into the match, Simon Andersson notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Araucampeón Retirado's Pedro Manuel Zuburu. Pedro Manuel Zuburu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manuel Zuburu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Syrianska FC's Simon Andersson. But to his dismay, Simon Andersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. 71 minutes into the game, Marc Wayne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Pedro Manuel Zuburu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th match minute, Araucampeón Retirado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil Okaner to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halil Okaner. Pedro Manuel Zuburu came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Syrianska FC's Marc Wayne. But to his dismay, Marc Wayne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. Araucampeón Retirado's Halil Okaner managed to work through Syrianska FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Halil Okaner dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 92nd minute, Marc Wayne made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manuel Zuburu. Araucampeón Retirado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-3. After 94 played minutes Araucampeón Retirado got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Villarroel. Syrianska FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
