In the 23rd minute of the match, Klement Harasimowicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Harasimowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ⓐⓡⓢⓔⓝⓐⓛ's Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ⓐⓡⓢⓔⓝⓐⓛ from getting a goal against them. Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blasi Gabas in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Denko Gervazov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ⓐⓡⓢⓔⓝⓐⓛ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blasi Gabas was slow to take the kick. During this time MANCHESTER UNITED's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MANCHESTER UNITED's corner Blasi Gabas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen quite easily take care of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ⓐⓡⓢⓔⓝⓐⓛ's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Harasimowicz came free, but Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MANCHESTER UNITED fully deserved thier win.
