After a defensive mix-up in PATO BRANCO FC's zone, Martin Olsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Ongile came out of the goal and Martin Olsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when PATO BRANCO FC's Lukáš Modrić fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 6 minutes, Martin Olsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZAT MARD FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Olsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Waller in the 14th minute of play forced PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper Angelo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PATO BRANCO FC's Angelo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Ståhlberg in the 19th minute of play. Angelo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Olsman in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Faustão Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Alagoano. 37 minutes into the game, AZAT MARD FC's Jon Waller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Ongile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to AZAT MARD FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elias Ståhlberg hit a great ball. After the first half AZAT MARD FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukáš Modrić was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Marcus Lagerberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Ongile was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Waller got free with Angelo Ongile in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to PATO BRANCO FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eulalio Peio hit a great ball. AZAT MARD FC's Josef Vennerström was substituted for Karl-Erik Hellsing. The supporters of PATO BRANCO FC booed when AZAT MARD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Skochev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes AZAT MARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Åhlberg. Angelo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ståhlberg in the 92nd minute of the match. Eulalio Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Löfdahl having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AZAT MARD FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
