The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Valeriu Ilinca came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Ilinca couldn't finish the play. After 6 minutes of play, Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvid Bremming was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Sergiu Coșeriu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Bremming was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Arvid Bremming made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 27th minute, Dumitru Pantelimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacri FC's goalkeeper Arvid Bremming, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Blănaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Bremming having to interfere. The Academia Rio fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Sergiu Coșeriu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming. Arvid Bremming was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arvid Bremming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 45th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sacri FC defense, Dorel Nedelciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvid Bremming. The Sacri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvid Bremming should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredric Rudqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sacri FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arvid Bremming, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sacri FC's zone, Sergiu Coșeriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvid Bremming came out of the goal and Sergiu Coșeriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorel Nedelciu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Arvid Bremming when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 66th minute of play forced Sacri FC's goalkeeper Arvid Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Adrian Blănaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arvid Bremming. Adrian Blănaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Radu Păvăloae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvid Bremming having to make a save. Sergiu Coșeriu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Arvid Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Rio. The audience was convinced that Sergiu Coșeriu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Bremming was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 74 minutes, Sergiu Coșeriu made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arvid Bremming. Arvid Bremming yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. In the 82nd play minute Dorel Nedelciu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arvid Bremming. 0-11. Academia Rio were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Sacri FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Pantelimon took the corner. Dumitru Pantelimon made a great header on Academia Rio's corner, it was just that Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 97th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arvid Bremming. The goal made the score 0-13. Academia Rio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
