After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rodrigo Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Rojas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Rojas in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 30th minute Rodrigo Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Pliszka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Mulgimaa Kosilased's Obidimkpa Szablewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Javiero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicko Kličko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Bernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Aleksander Pliszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Rojas in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicko Kličko in the 76th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Rojas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Pliszka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Rodrigo Rojas got a free kick in the 96th minute.
