Jon Calatayud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Chale in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Bektaş Sertuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Almirante Brown the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palestine's Bektaş Sertuğ got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jon Calatayud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Chale's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Palestine got a freekick which was hit by Cemil Erkılınç. Ksawery Brzakala took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jon Calatayud. Palestine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Yiyo Sauca. Jon Calatayud came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale. But to his dismay, Benedicto Chale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yasin Türünk kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Benedicto Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon Calatayud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. Jon Calatayud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Club Almirante Brown's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ksawery Brzakala in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enis Behiç Cangun to make the kick off. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Prospero Abad hit a great ball. A hard shot 74 in the game by Benedicto Chale from a close distance when the talented Jon Calatayud managed to make a qualified save. Palestine's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Palestine's zone, Benedicto Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Calatayud came out of the goal and Benedicto Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Almirante Brown's Gualterio Shepherd was substituted for Ignacio Truylos. Club Almirante Brown's Ismael Leoiar was substituted for Ksawery Brzakala. Palestine's Yağız Sungurbay was substituted for Cemil Erkılınç. In the 81st minute 齐扬扬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Calatayud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Bautista in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Bautista got free with Jon Calatayud in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yasin Türünk's late challenge caught a Club Almirante Brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yasin Türünk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute Süreyya Adıbelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Süreyya Adıbelli got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aristides Hodei was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Guido Bautista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jon Calatayud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enis Behiç Cangun in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Palestine's Jon Calatayud got control of the ball when Guido Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Almirante Brown's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
