With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Calatayud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Hesseling in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Calatayud saved Palestine from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Palestine got a freekick which was hit by Yasin Türünk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Twan Hesseling in the 17th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Verwachting's Twan Hesseling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Calatayud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 23rd minute Christijan Schreuder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Basri Canıtez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Verwachting's Phoenix Soare quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Palestine's Jon Calatayud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enis Behiç Cangun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Hilhorst was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jon Calatayud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Hesseling in the 52nd minute of the match. Afşar Tokgöz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Christijan Schreuder in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jon Calatayud, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Verwachting booed when Palestine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş Sertuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestine's Oğuz Kasım was substituted for Cemil Erkılınç. After 65 played minutes Palestine got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Sertuğ. Verwachting's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
