Jaroslaw Filanowski made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC XY's Martin Slaninka. 14 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Mirac came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cihat Cevval. After 21 played minutes FC XY got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Čižmár. With a little luck, FC XY's Miroslav Motuz got control of the ball when Cihat Cevval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sune Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pavlovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Veli Mirac in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sune Rudberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Stal Sanok were awarded a corner. Lin Ang went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ižvolt in the 37th minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Pavlovič stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miroslav Motuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Antoniu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Augusto Lazcano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stal Sanok and the FC XY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stal Sanok getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Augusto Lazcano hit a great ball. Cihat Cevval's late challenge caught a FC XY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihat Cevval helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Cihat Cevval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC XY were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Stal Sanok's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Slaninka took the corner. FC XY's Orhan Veli Mirac got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Antón Macejko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lin Ang took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miroslav Motuz. FC XY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jaroslaw Filanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Pavlovič. When Orhan Veli Mirac came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC XY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Veli Mirac couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Daniel Pavlovič got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sune Rudberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 84 minutes, Orhan Veli Mirac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC XY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Veli Mirac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Orhan Veli Mirac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Veli Mirac in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sune Rudberg saved Stal Sanok from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihat Cevval in the 95th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC XY walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
