The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, TİGANAFC's Joris Sury got a free kick in the 12th minute. If François-Xavier Grélet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octave Deflandre during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octave Deflandre hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jean-Yves Choisy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Erramu in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehdi Tonon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Rodde saved TİGANAFC from getting behind. In the 31st minute Alou Le Maux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Rodde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alou Le Maux in the 33rd minute of play forced TİGANAFC's goalkeeper Melvin Rodde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, EİFFEL FC's Alou Le Maux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melvin Rodde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 36th play minutes Mehdi Tonon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Melvin Rodde and just under the crossbar into goal. Brandon Amet's late challenge caught a EİFFEL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Amet helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes TİGANAFC got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Amet. 40 minutes into the match, EİFFEL FC's Alou Le Maux broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Mehdi Tonon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EİFFEL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehdi Tonon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Tonon in the 43rd minute of play forced TİGANAFC's goalkeeper Melvin Rodde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melvin Rodde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alou Le Maux went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that François-Xavier Grélet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Yves Choisy was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Primitivo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melvin Rodde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Tonon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Mehdi Tonon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Rodde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EİFFEL FC's Jean-Yves Choisy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François-Xavier Grélet in the 74th minute of play. Jean-Yves Choisy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François-Xavier Grélet in the 75th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Primitivo Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EİFFEL FC's Jean-Yves Choisy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Albinet hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Melvin Rodde made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alou Le Maux sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Mehdi Tonon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Rodde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Erramu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Yves Choisy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The EİFFEL FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing EİFFEL FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
