The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Lequesne in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to AC Cristal getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Robert Bardin hit a great ball. Eduard Scobioalã might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Bocage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduard Scobioalã ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Bocage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Scobioalã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Bocage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-François Lajus came free, but Bruno Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golo Strojek kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's goalkeeper Bruno Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Marc Taillefer. Cyber Attack's Golo Strojek got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Bocage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Käcker in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes AC Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Duclos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Käcker in the 28th minute of play forced AC Cristal's goalkeeper Elias Bocage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Bocage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Strojek in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Cyber Attack's Arso Rangachev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Bocage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Achille Letellier threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cyber Attack's Victorino Vachon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 40 minutes of play, Cyber Attack's Ivan Käcker made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Bocage was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Käcker took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Bocage. Elias Bocage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Golo Strojek was the one to do the kick off. AC Cristal's Elias Bocage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Cristal from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute Golo Strojek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bocage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Cristal's goalkeeper Elias Bocage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-François Lajus in the 60th minute of the match. AC Cristal's Elias Bocage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Cristal from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's Golo Strojek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Bocage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Golo Strojek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Bocage, 0-5. Greg Lequesne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, AC Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Strojek came free, but Elias Bocage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Golo Strojek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bocage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cyber Attack booed when AC Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Pagano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
