Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Elias Bocage successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute Jean-François Lajus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arif Çelebi Ergener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AC Cristal's Elias Bocage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 41st minute of play. The corner ended in Guy Jourdan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Cristal's Elias Bocage did a great save. 72 minutes into the game, Faouzi Duclos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tours Football Club's Guy Jourdan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elias Bocage didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustin Hamet went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Cyrille Jenny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Elias Bocage was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the game, Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Bocage made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.
