In the 15th minute Darren Teisseire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the gipsy kings defense, Madjid Pauly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The gipsy kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pascal Weiss should have stopped the shot. Fabrice Gamet kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. John Costes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Madjid Pauly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Madjid Pauly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Costes in the 26th minute of the match. 0-2 became the score in the 27th minute when Pierre Dole elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Madjid Pauly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Scaloneta played a much better game than gipsy kings and deserved their victory. The gipsy kings players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
