Yves Amet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avel Vat's Yves Amet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Lequesne in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Greg Lequesne came free, but Yves Amet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Collinet in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Bocage saved AC Cristal from getting behind. Yves Amet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Lequesne, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Marc Taillefer got free with Yves Amet in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean-Marc Taillefer charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Marc Taillefer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Jean-Marc Taillefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léonard Beuve in the 23rd minute of play forced AC Cristal's goalkeeper Elias Bocage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avel Vat's goalkeeper Yves Amet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Marc Taillefer in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yves Amet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léonard Beuve in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Bocage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Léonard Beuve put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Bocage. After 34th play minutes Greg Lequesne shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Yves Amet and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th minute, Aymerick Thellier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léonard Beuve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yves Amet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Marc Taillefer went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Yves Amet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Lequesne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Greg Lequesne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Cristal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Greg Lequesne might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yves Amet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg Lequesne ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 69 minutes, Jean-François Lajus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Cristal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-François Lajus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Léonard Beuve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bocage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymerick Thellier to maneuver through the defense. Yves Amet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Lequesne in the 74th minute of play. If Greg Lequesne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Jean-François Lajus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Amet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute AC Cristal were awarded a corner. Robert Bardin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on AC Cristal's corner Robert Bardin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yves Amet quite easily take care of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Greg Lequesne notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Avel Vat's Yves Amet. Yves Amet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC Cristal fully deserved thier win.
